Statistics: Russia’s GDP rises 2.9% on year in January–September
MOSCOW, Nov 29 (PRIME) -- Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 2.9% on the year in January–September, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Wednesday quoting preliminary data.
According to the service, the GDP fell by 1.8% in January–March, rose by 4.9% in April–June, and increased by 5.5% in July–September.
The Economic Development Ministry expects the GDP of Russia to grow by 2.8% this year.
